If you love dragons, heists, banter, betrayal, enemies to lovers slow burn, magic and secrecy then you are going to really enjoy this.
It does have a lot of set up at the beginning but this is very much needed and didn’t feel onerous.
I personally adored all of the characters and thought they were very well written and fleshed out so they felt real and their interactions perfectly fit.
This has a great handle on inclusivity and gender and how we approach this.
All around a great fun read for those fantasy lovers who like a bit of romance too.
