This book was EVERYTHING. It solidified Samkiel as one of my top 5 fictional book men EVER. He is everything. The way he loves Dianna NO MATTER WHAT and is just the most gently man but also so nasty is EVERYTHING TO ME. He is the sweetest human but can turn deadly at the drop of a hat for his woman. Lord Amber really cooked with him. HE TOOK HIS POWER BACK FROM THE SKY TO SAVE HIS DIANNA BE SO FR!!
Dianna has evolved SO MUCH since the first book. She has been through undeniable trauma and has came out of it changed. Samkiel is so good for her and I just really adore the person she is. She is still our savage, protective, badass but also more understanding, caring, and vulnerable with Samkiel. She is my QUEEN and I identify with so much of what makes her who she is.
I geniunely adore all of these characters so much and love seeing their point of view. Please bring my babies back (Xavier, Logan, Nev, and Imogen) + Vincent and Camilla because I LOVE THEIR RELATIONSHIP BRO. Vincent hasn't attoned for everything he's done but I am forgiving him...
Cameron is still my sweet boy and I need him to have his human again.
I knew Kaden wasn't dead, it was way too easy..
I really want Isaiah and Imogen to be together... I know that may be a hot take but he's not HORRIBLE. Kaden is a lot worse and has don't unforgivable things (even though there were times I wanted a redemption arc...).
Love Miska and Roccerum a lot as well, I am sad that we lost a few characters along the way.
I cannot wait for the next book!!
