The Alice Network by Kate Quinn

5.0

What I'm learning about myself recently is that apparently I really enjoy historical fiction. Between this and Fountains of Silence, I'm fully aboard the historical fiction train. This story was poignant and breathtaking, keeping you on your toes every page. I loved that most of the characters were real, and that those who were fictional were flushed out with details from actual people. I had never heard of the female spies during the War, let alone the Alice Network, and this was such an eye opening read. I feel guilty that we don't learn about these incredible, strong women in school. They sacrificed so much for the good of all, and it's a huge shame that they get so overlooked. I would recommend to anyone and everyone.
