The Bachelorette Party by Camilla Sten

3.0

The secluded remote island resort was the perfect setting for this locked in room mystery. The duel timelines and when they switched were well done kept me reading.

However the similarities in names between the original 4 women who went missing on the island 10 years earlier and the current women attending the bachelorette party kept me confused and even had my mind complicating predictions of possibly one of the gals being one of the original 4.

I found myself quickly devouring the book though after the second half of the book. I needed to know. I wasn’t quite expecting the thriller aspect of it and did feel it got a little too thrasher and unrealistic and a little hard to follow.

As This was an arc and I appreciate NetGalley for the ecopy, I imagine some more editing will go into it before its release. Because a few things got me confused for a minute:
A murder weapon changed names a few times
A character randomly appears at the end
A character was mentioned living in an apartment and then a different one was named as living there.
Sunset used instead of sunrise

I haven’t read this author before and I definitely would pick up her other books. I think this would be the perfect beach read for those that like mystery and thrillers.
