This book was unhinged. Can I in good conscience recommend it to people? Probably not. However, I devoured it.
I really appreciate that Addie wasn't *completely* stupid though. She did, up until a certain hand situation, react in basically the manner that I would to a stalker. I really liked her character. And also appreciate how complicated all the characters were, they had depth- whether talking about Addie, Zade, or Daya. There were moments when I loved them and moments when I hated them with a passion!
There were also so many twists and turns, I never knew what to expect! Not to mention that ending!! 😱 H.D. Carlton clearly knows how to shock their audience; and judge me if you must, but I love it!
