The Children of Men by P.D. James

3.0

This was a interesting premise, and so strange to read a book based in the future, that is now a time in our past. There is much suspense and chase as the group tries to keep Julian's secret, and thus her life, safe. I listened to this with my husband and we agreed that there is so much build up to a very anticlimactic ending. We both looked at each other and said, "What? That's it?".
So far I'm really struggling with PD James, and think I'll take a break for awhile.
