The Final Frontiersman: Heimo Korth and His Family, Alone in Alaska's Arctic Wilderness by James Campbell

5.0

I had actually stumbled upon the TV show/Docuseries before finding the book. When this book came up that I might be interested, I jumped on it! While I watched the show, it didn't go into much detail about how Heimo came to be a frontiersman, how he met Edna, and the in depth look at the loss of their child, Coleen. I have a new found respect for Heimp and his family after reading more about him and the struggles he faces early on in the arctic.
