DNF @ 53% when I realized how much was left despite the amount I'd read feeling absolutely interminable

Let me start by saying the main character is both homophobic and transphobic and implicitly expects everyone else be too

This book is so slow and tedious that I genuinely thought it must be nearly over and then realized I was only halfway. The main character needs serious therapy, not to project all her many many issues on her friends and then drink to forget. I think this is supposed to be cute? She's a horrible person with no regard for others. She never thinks "what if this scrub hurts them" but instead "what if this action makes them stop looking me?" The feelings of others don't matter, only how they affect the main character. She's a horrible person and there's not a scrap of value in this book
