Interesting. Not for anyone who hasn’t read The Passenger, which itself is not for anyone unfamiliar with McCarthy. Years ago I “finished” all of McCarthy’s novels with Suttree, which felt like an amazing end to the bibliography. Now I’m left unsure. Some great lines here, but would have been better suited as part of Passenger.
