Since I finished reading Off to the races, and Violet and Cole were first introduced, I never imagined that Violet and Cole’s story would go like this. I mean, I knew it was a second chance romance but DAYUM! 
 
After reading all the Eaton brothers books I am happy that I also read Violets. My heart broke for Cole and I am so happy that him and Violet found each other.

I kinda wished the characters from Chestnut Springs had appeared more in the story, given their connection to Violet. This story is also very centered on Cole and I almost feel like Violet is a side character, we only know the name of her brothers (which will later have their own series) at the very end of the book. I personally prefer the Chestnut Spring series but overall the book was well written and it’s definitely worth a read if you like Elsie Silver’s books!
