This is such a beautiful story. I loved every minute of it. The author perfectly captures the blend of charm and uncanniness which accompanies the cultural history of storytelling about the fae. The balancing of beauty, kindness, love, joy and other bright things with peril, fear and other shadows is artfully handled. I absolutely adored the characters - it's one of those reads which you walk away from feeling as though you have a whole new set of friends. Just an utter delight.
