Review: That's it, I finally finished the series! The fourth and last of the Red Queen books was action packed and crammed with storylines coming to a close. My negatives were 1) that I didn't really want the story to end and 2) some of the characters and storylines were a little bit disappointing in how they played out. Without spoilers, I didn't love the conclusions of what came to pass with either the Samos or Cygnet families. I wish there was better/more detailed conclusion for Cameron, I felt like we got to know her so well only to have her basically disappear in the end with only minor mention. I also felt uncomfy with Mare/Cal/Maven, but again it's hard to elaborate without giving it away. I just really wanted more.

Overall, though, this book and the others in the series were an absolute delight. It was a well-crafted, fascinating world with characters that inspired emotion. Great fantasy series!
