While I found this book to be interesting with the thoughts posed on religion and the afterlife... most of the book is a monologue of Memnoch speaking with Lestat. I was waiting for something to happen, but nothing ever really did. Like I said before, I thought it was interesting, which is why it gets a 3, but overall, I wouldn't find it to be a very important book in the series.
