This book was recommended following a group discussion on the lack of real romance in most modern-day romance novels.  It did not disappoint.

Some of the things I  loved :
* The humor. I  Laughed out loud A LOT. Some parts were also emotional
*The couple's communication, including the inside jokes,  and how their relationship progressed over time.
* The challenges they faced as each unpacked their baggage and dealt with their insecurities in the relationship.  One of the MCs was going through grief due to the death of a loved one. so it is nice to see this expressed in a book.
* The novel also touches on mental health in a subtle  way
* While the MCs supported each other while unpacking their baggage, each did their own healing. The relationship seemed healthy and a good balance between sex and romance.

The narrators are amazing AS USUAL.  my only disappointment was that the narrator sometimes voiced the male and the female in the chapter rather than each narrator sticking to their gender. but this is typically found in the narrations so no real complaint there.
