Another great story from Staci Hart! I connected with Valentina like no other character so far. Her views of herself and her body. And being nervous to date and do anything. Shes been hurt, told she's fat, and had guys use her. Something I know so well. But when she meets Sam, all that changes. She learns to be who she truly is. The confident beautiful girl she has always been. And like all relationships, trust was broken because of a bet Sam made with Ian to try and protect her. Little did he realize that Val didn't need protecting. Im so glad that Sam cut off Ian. Ian was a manipulative jerk from the get go. You could tell in every word and conversation. Sam deserved a much better friend. And im so glad, by the end, Val and Sam made it. It really shows that being honest is always the best policy and manipulative "friends" need to be cut out.
