Rock and a Hard Place by Jane Davitt, Alexa Snow

3.0

I enjoyed this book, but there wasn't anything that stands out to me. Stranded on a deserted island was unique. But I didn't feel there was much risk. The focus was more on their relationship than on the fact that they were stranded on an island with nothing but a suitcase with a few bits of clothes. Their hardship was part of the story, but I think it was glossed over. Sure this is a romance, so that's going to be the focus, but when you've got folks stranded on an island for over a week, make us feel their struggle, their hunger, their aches and pains, their anguish at the possibility of not being rescued. I didn't feel it enough.
