Slouching Towards Bethlehem
by Joan Didion
challenging
informative
reflective
fast-paced
This is my first time reading Didion, and I have to say, she is worth the hype! She is one of the New Journalism writers of the 50s and 60s, changing how journalistic stories are reported, writing with a strong literary and personal voice. I was intrigued by her writing and her subject matter, which is from a different perspective than anything I have read before.
