Just like the first book in The Empire of the Wolf trilogy, I greatly enjoyed the world-building, the religious aspects, the political maneuvering, the ‘horror’ elements, the detective/mystery aspects, and the character development of The Tyranny of Faith. I have enjoyed Richard Swan’s prose and his storytelling. He has a talent for weaving together so many different ideas into a comprehensive whole.  This is a fascinating story with some wonderful twists and turns and I look forward to finishing the series very soon.
