Incredibly dense with names and metaphors which I didn’t really vibe with.
There are still moments I liked though (Hector parting with his wife and child, the death of Patroclus and its aftermath) and the ending is cool.
Makes me want to read Stephen Fry’s retelling now.
Do like the passion the translator shows for this work in her introduction.
