Never will I find a series that gives me the vibes this one does.
It feels like a home away from home, somewhere I feel like I would be understood no matter what. That's what the Wayward Children series feel like to me. To be fair, this is probably my least favorite book out of them all. And yet it feels like home, so I love it nonetheless. Lundy's story was never one I particularly cared for since her ending was rather tragic, but regardless I am grateful I got to see her world and experience what the whole Goblin Market concept was. To be able to go back through a door at will I think is very interesting and wonderful, but obviously it's for a price. I would like a more in-depth explanation of who the Archivist is as a whole, as her character to me was the most interesting of them all. I thought the concept of her father being part of the world the most interesting part. Their father-daughter relationship was really interesting to read as many of the parents of these children have not experienced the same. Ultimately it's what lead Lundy to experience what she did, but I feel like she lived as she was meant to, and was sure
