A Sorceress Comes to Call by T. Kingfisher
4.0
adventurous dark hopeful fast-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Strong character development: Yes
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Complicated

A house party full of kooky characters goes awry when a dark sorceress is one of the house guests. There is some humour and warmth and found family bonding but also some great scenes towards the end that are a bit creepy. I loved the descriptions of the familiar and the circle of geese.
