I liked the premise and the first hundred pages or so, but then you get cliche after cliche, there can't be just a friendship between a man and a woman, and the ending? Oh no. That's bad. he dies and then it's revealed she's pregnant, oh hell no
I cannot speak for how the Alzheimer's is portrayed, but I think the author was cherry picking at times.
And one note at the end, it's too long. Way too long for a contemporary book.
