This book was an exact replica of the first with few details changed, but I still really enjoyed it. The story moves at exactly the same pace- set up the same way with the same big events happening at the same time in the story and then BAM big reveal and change the POV/narrator at exactly the same point. It didn’t totally ruin the story though, because the writing is good and the author is a good story teller. She counts on the reader expecting certain things after reading the first book, which made some of the twists really unexpected. I wouldn’t read a ton of these books if they all are like this, but I heard the 3rd is better and I enjoy the books enough that I’ll try it.
