I ended my review of book 1 Shelter with At some point I will try book 2 to see if this was just world building and character development plot or it is just lackluster since I know how good he can write.
It took two years to get around to book two and this is because I am cleaning up my series in progress that need read or removed from list.
Book 2 wasnt much better, characters were still in the development stage and the plot has too many things going on.
He writes Adult stand alone that are non stop craziness that you need to read to the end in one sitting. His series featuring Myron is a strong and well written.
As for young adult it seems he jumped on the band wagon of established authors who write grown up novels and decided to spin out a YA book or two. It didnt work.
