Ania Thorne heads her family jewelry business, Thorne & Company, after her father was scandalously ousted.  She arrives in Cannes to dress movie stars with her company’s beautiful jewelry when a notorious jewel thief known as the Leopard steals them.  

Jerome Curtis works for Lambert Securities and investigates the heist.  Jerome is quite familiar with the Leopard since he's the mastermind behind dozens of jewelry thefts. 

Together Ania and Jerome track down Leopard and her jewels while unintentionally becoming romantically involved. 

I love this romantic caper with all the old Hollywood feel.  The book mastefully mashes tropes of “opposites attract” with “catch me if you can”.   A very quick-paced mystery that you can easily read in one sitting. If you enjoy old movies such as To Catch A Thief, you'll enjoy this book!
