Fake It by Lily Seabrooke

5.0

Wow! This book bowled me over! As somebody who shares an aspect of my personal history with Avery, it was wonderful to see that aspect presented by somebody I trusted and in a way that respected Avery as a whole woman, not just that one aspect of her. I especially loved that this was in no way about her figuring out who she is or the proper label, that was already a settled given before we meet her. And I love that, even when their relationship was not yet 100% real, they each had important personal reasons for why they came together: it was neither random nor one-sided. I will definitely be reading more from Lily Seabrooke!
