This could have been good but it missed the mark for me. I find I can't connect with the characters and I feel outside the story - and as this is the second book by her, she'll be a miss from now on. I found that a lot of the story was repeated several times which is so challenging when you sit to binge a book. What this book is though is a popcorn thriller. If you need something to pull you back into the thriller genre, and you really like the vibes - this will do it. Be warned that the mama-drama is very very real and repeated very regularly. So it's not quite an escape.
