A perfect happily ever after for Stella
Strong, buttoned up, set in her ways Stella finds herself at a complete lose when her long-term boyfriend does not propose but breaks up with her, on her birthday no less! Her grandmother calls unexpectedly acting very unlike herself and decides to head up there to see for herself. Her grandmother though seems to be just fine and the boy next door who has been seeing to her heard work, is most certainly not a boy. He is a very definition of a soldier and she finds herself dreaming of him. But he is not whole, he is damaged and closed off and not interested, at all. Or at least she thought so... Happily ever after are never fairytale perfect and often come about after a lot of soul searching and a willingness to be brave and take a leap. Can she do it? Can he?
