I. LOVED. THIS. BOOK. i’m a sappy happy mess. i was consumed with everything charlotte and rowan. 

charlotte and rowan hate each other. they’re rival farm owners and do everything to get under each others skin. you can cut the tension with a knife, and don’t even get me started on all their sexual tension, oh boy. they have outstanding banter and really know how to rile the other up. they may not like it, but the attraction they have for each other is electric. their chemistry is downright earth shattering, and they are so explosive together. the progression from enemies to then frenemies and then friends, and finally lovers was spectacular. i loved the deep connection charlotte and rowan formed. and when they finally put the hatred aside and saw what was right in front of them and for them to let their walls down allowing love in was truly beautiful.

tempting promises was enemies to lovers perfection! i ate this book up as if it was the matilda chocolate cake. i inhaled every page in one sitting, so freaking good. i was left swooning and smiling so hard. not gonna lie either, i was hit with the emotional punch corinne knows how to throw too. this book was just so damn fantastic. i’ll be basking in everything charlotte and rowan for awhile, especially waiting for the next book which i am jonesing for. i desperately need it. i can’t wait, i can’t wait, i can’t wait!

also, the audio was fantastic-freaking-tactic!
