Breakfast of Champions is a whirlwind of a book with little bite-size sci-fi short stories stirred in with reflections on commercialism, rascism, classism, mental health, gender roles, and American culture. The chapters are short as heck! Just be mindful, Vonnegut is not shy with the swears in dialogue. This book has a lot going on and is filled with satirical humor that sabotages the stereotypical American bigot. I found it refreshing, highly rereadable, profound, witty, and many lines still stuck with me in how quickly and concisely they describe.
