A cosy, warm and vivid window into the life of one small English village in the mid 19th century. I loved it. The characters, plots, writing- all of it is absolutely flawless and I honestly cannot criticise something so utterly beautiful and utterly, quintessentially English.
Highly recommended for a cosy read.
