This is my first Shanora romance & I was hooked from the start. So many topics are intertwined into this love story - grief, finding & accepting new love, forgiveness and moving forward with life.  And I made a new book boyfriend - Deke! 🥵 He falls first & is so patient with Davina. Being a pro basketball player didn't stop him from making time for her. Their relationship seemed so genuine & honest. That's what I love to read about! 🩷

This book was a little sad (and has bits a drama)...but I was rooting for Davina to give Deke a full chance! Plus the spice was spicing 🙃.   

There are a few triggers (death, abuse, alcoholism anxiety/panic attacks, etc) so read up on those before diving in.
