I liked this much more than I normally would. I'm not one for the single parent trope, but I think Juth and Pak were endeared to me already from the glimpses we had seen of them in previous books. I feel like the stakes were low overall. I don't mind this, but I wish this particular story would have been longer and more fleshed out.
