This has to be one of the greatest books I've ever read. Gaddis really saw America for what it was and he nailed it.
He saw what was going on in the 70's and the only thing that has changed in finance is that they've continued to change the rules to suit them all along the way. This is the reason why we have such massive income inequality in this country, but the wealthy have convinced enough of the poors that they're just one good investment away from being in their club.
