it was so good, I loved everything about it: the characters, their development, the pacing, the pining, the mystery subplot. I was interested in Cole since the beginning, he seemed a quiet and calm person at first, but he’s like that only at the exterior, also he enjoys philosophical and psychological books ?? hello? philosophy and psychology degree here🙋🏻‍♀️
I had some prejudices about Silver and I was happy to be wrong, it was all a scene to please her mother. The fact that she had to take care of her mother’s mental health since she was 11 is infuriating, despite the ending I still don’t like her mother, she has a narcissistic and victim personality and because of that she put her daughter through much.
I loved the mystery plot, at first I thought that the Doll Master was Cole’s second personality lmao then the author made us think it was Adam but at some point I had an illumination about who they could be and I was right lol.
Anyway the last epilogue was so beautiful, it was heartwarming seeing everyone there for Silver because she redeemed herself with her old friends.
Plus the scene between Eli and baby Ava was so cute, the fact that their book is the last in the universe is like a joke.
