4.5 stars! Beautifully written, convincing plot addressing two very socially relevant issues. Nonetheless what really stood out to me was the historical context (the aftermath of the Japonese-Americans situation during WWII) which I was unfamiliar with.
Oh yeah and what a beautiful surprise to find out the author was inspired by her grandparents' life story!
