What a beautiful dark book looking at all aspects of being human. The deep dive into being queer and Palestinian and young. The thoughts of family history and suicidal thoughts. The trappings of escapism, alcohol and drugs. Truly it touched me deeply and really made me think. There was some coincidences I didn’t think were needed but overall, it was an amazing, beautiful book that touched me deeply and made me look at my life as well as thinking about what others might be going through. If you’re in the right headspace for deep and dark, it’s a great book.
