Mexican folklore, magical realism, and dark stories. I felt like I read a Mexican version of the twilight zone. This book is really cool and I think my minor issue with it is that some stories were not necessary. Like they were too short and not memorable. All together tho the book is solid and gave major Scary stories/Twilight Zone Vibes
