Okay…
Names are atrocious… people’s, animals, places, groups of people. It’s borderline distracting. BUT I like that there has been some comedic relief to it. And that almost makes up for it.
This is a typical Romantasy where you can either guess what going to happen or it’s something so obscure and out of the blue that you could never. And there is always a relic or oracle or something that will save the day.
THAT SAID…. I enjoyed it. The pacing, the plotting, the two love stories intertwined and developing. There was a lot of fun in this story and the over all story is unique enough that I enjoyed learning where everything was going.
Also… there’s Grim and I’m glad he’s now in my life.
