A very interesting plot with multiple details slowly revealed but no big twists, no ah-ha moments, no psychological thriller elements like you’d typically expect from Lucinda Berry. I think this is one of her earlier books & you can tell in the writing style. The actual story was really interesting but I’m so used to huge plot twists & a story just unrolling in chronological fashion & no surprises feels like a bit of a let down!
