The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
5.0
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo
wasn’t actually about the husbands at all.
This book surprised me. It’s been in my TBR list FOREVER.
I’m so glad I finally got to it. I thought this would be a shallow tale of Hollywood glam, but I was wrong. It was about a complex woman, navigating this unkind world and looking for the courage to be authentic herself. I had no idea I would cry, I had no idea I would love and hate a character at the same time, and I had no idea how much I would love this book. 5 stars and if I could give it 10, I would!
