Marie Brennan has done it again. This was another great volume in the Lady Trent series. I can't remember if she said there are more books to look forward to or not in this series, but if there are I’m all in. I think what struck me most about this book was the flirtation of enemies to lovers even though the ending didn’t work out that way. I also really enjoyed the interspersed translations of the tablet throughout the book. It makes me want to go back and read the whole Lady Trent series over again.
