The Art of Avoiding Your Alpha by Lola Glass

4.0

I love reading Lola Glass and grab every book of hers as soon as it comes out! I enjoyed this one but not as much as the first in the series.

Tori is one of the very few blood wolves living in Wildwood and despite doing her best to hide her scent, she is discovered by her mate, Ronin. He is one of the government enforcers responsible for rescuing her friend Sienna, as well as for the destruction and imprisonment of her old nightmarish vampire clan.

Ronin is much what one would expect from a two century old alpha who essentially lives to find his mate. Almost tenacious to a fault, he pursues Tori relentlessly, however does find some ways to compromise. Tori however really needs to do some introspection. Or at least consider possibilities. She is overly hard-headed and if not for her closest friends not-so-gently prodding her, she may not have gotten there.

I still thoroughly liked the book, and it has a decent lead in to Sienna’s story. I’ll be reading it again and can’t wait for the next to come out!.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
