The Accomplice by Steve Cavanagh

My favourite attorney is back. Ohh how much I longed for him. I burned through the book so quickly that my eyes burned. But it was well worth it.

This was the first book I had stayed awake to finish. Because it was so thrilling. When I finally went to sleep an unknown fear gripped me and I had nightmare. I was sure the sandman was there and I'm glad I don't remember much of it.

Eddie having a panic attack and taking an emotional toll is the last thing I wanna read ever. My heart squeezed seeing his suffering but he pulled it together and nailed the case.

Reading the sandman's POV terrified me. The way he described taking the eye balls of the victims and keeping it in his hands to feel them was sickening

What an amazing plan Eddie made to prove that their phones are bugged. Wow. I laughed so much despite the circumstances. And the car race was fantastic. I loved the action.

‘Is that how young men flirt these days ?’ asked Harry. ‘For a second I thought he was having a stroke.’ Wow this comment was mind-blowing. I laughed so much that my stomach hurt.

The ending gnawed at me. I hated it. If Eddie knew it would break his heart. Sure, the twist was brilliant but I am not at all satisfied with the ending.
