I absolutely love this book. I see that there are some people who found Pali entirely unlikeable, but I think she is very human, and she is dealing with her trauma in her own way. While there were times that I was definitely upset with her or disagreeing with her opinions, I can understand why she felt and acted the way she did. I love how Victoria Goddard's Nine Worlds books all add so much depths to each other, and each one I read makes me want to go reread the rest of the books all over again. So even if Pali had me wanting to shake some sense into her at times, I appreciate her perspectives and I can understand where she's coming from and that she doesn't have all the same information I do!!
