Claire DeWitt is a private investigator, by calling rather than choice. She’s not your usual PI by any stretch of the imagination and her methods are somewhat unorthodox. Finding herself back in New Orleans to investigate the disappearance of a man who by all accounts was a saint, Claire finds herself battling the after-effects of the flooding, the poverty and the gang warfare to get to the truth.
I’m not entirely sure I enjoyed this, but there was something ... it’s very different, but I remain unconvinced.
