The Simple Wild by K.A. Tucker
4.0

I love Alaska and one of my best friends lives in the bush. So reading a book about a city girl whose estranged father is an Alaskan bush pilot, with a love story on the side, was right up my ally. From the small bit I know of living in Alaska, this book seemed to be well researched and realistic. The main character annoyed me for half the book, though (she consistently mentioned how much her clothes cost…..why is that necessary. No one talks like that). But thankfully I enjoyed her character toward the end, and I particularly appreciated her journey with forgiveness. I look forward to reading the sequel.
