This is not a romance book but rather a horror. The relationship between Jane and Mr Rochester is gross, he is a horrible man, I do not get the appeal whatsoever, he treats everyone like shit, especially Adèle. The age gap is concerning since Jane is still a teen and 20 years his junior, not to mention the other love Interest is her cousin, how romantic. Beuatifullu written novel Jane herself is an interesting character, I enjoyed reading about her, I just hated the romance aspect.
