This book captivated me in this realistic tale about a girl with muffled memories from the war. It follows her getting her memories back after moving on with her life in Canada. We feel her pain and confusion as she tries to figure out her role in the war. This novel was an amazing fast paced read that got me out of a reading slump. Would defined recommend for those who need a quick historical fiction read!
