If you read Ella Enchanted when you were young, you will love reading The Isle in the Silver Sea as a grown up. This story is filled with so much wonder with all of the fairy tales, there is so much adventure, and never a dull moment. The world building, lore, characters, and character development are all fantastic. I'm so in love with the characters and the love story intertwined. I loved reading this, I've been eager to read it ever since Tasha Suri revealed she was releasing this book and it was so much more than I could have ever anticipated.
In the Isle, there are Incarnates, people who relive their tale every lifetime, and for the knight and the witch, it ends in death every time. While Simran is trying to find a way to break her tale and not succumb to her fate, an assassin takes someone important from her and leaves her no choice but to lean on her knight, Vina, to rescue them and find a way to break their tale.
(I received this as a arc)
